South Korea’s low birth rate has been an issue for many years. In 2024, the total fertility rate is only 0.75, the lowest in the OECD countries. Many people have placed the financial pressure, strong social competition and even the changing in youth’s perspective as the focus of such decline. In this video, NOVAsia will interview a number of Korean female guests who offer their takes on the country’s concern.
